Dean: Linda Caron, Ph.D.

What are the liberal arts? The short answer is that they encompass the disciplines loosely titled the arts, the humanities, and the social sciences. The College of Liberal Arts at Wright State offers more than 50 majors, minors, and certificate programs in everything from crime and justice studies to classics, from modern languages to motion pictures, from philosophy to political science, and many, many more.

But in addition to offering students the opportunity to become experts in their chosen subject, the liberal arts build essential skills that transcend a single discipline and prepare students for a lifetime of satisfaction and success.
