Description

This is the second in a series of interviews with Dr. Alvin E. Rodin, Chairman of the Department of Postgraduate Medicine and Continuing Education in the Wright State University School of Medicine. In the first part of this interview, Dr. Rodin continues his discussion of the sections of his Department and their functions. Specific sections described are the Evaluations Section and the Residency Training Section. Dr. Rodin also discusses the Continuing Medical Education program at Greene Memorial Hospital.

In the second part of this interview, Dr. Rodin looks back on the development of the School of Medicine. In the ensuing discussion, Dr. Rodin focuses on the leadership of the founding Dean of the School, Dr. John R. Beljan, and the transition in leadership that occurred when Dr. Beljan left the Deanship and Dr. William D. Sawyer became the new Dean. Dr. Rodin concludes the interview with his thoughts on the future of his Department and the School of Medicine.
