Orville Wright and Selfridge seated in the Wright Model A Flyer. In a final preparation for this fatal flight, Charlie Taylor is untying the safety rope and has his rear turned to the camera. Photographer's note reverse, "...one minute later I had taken the last picture and they were off." This photograph is attributed to C. H. Claudy, Washington (D.C.)
