Description

Orville, Reuchlin, and Milton Wright, and two military officers walk around the launch rail at Fort Myer. Note on reverse "left to right, Lieut. Humphries, Lieut. B.D. Foulois, who will be Wright's pupil. Reuchlin Wright who saw his brother fly for the first time half hour after this picture was taken. Bishop Wright, father of the aviators. Orville Wright in black between two lieutenants in khaki." Photographers wet stamp reverse. This photograph is attributed to C. H. Claudy, Washington (D.C.)
