Description
Front view of the Wright 1905 Flyer in flight at Huffman Prairie. The pilot is not identified. Note on the reverse by Orville Wright "The 1905 machine in flight at Simms Station. This photograph taken from in front of the machine at a height of about 40 feet. The course was circular & for the most part over a single field and the flight lasted 18 to 20 minutes. A road runs by the trees & from it many witnessed the flights."
