Description
The Wright 1905 Flyer at Huffman Prairie taking off on the first flight of 1905 with Orville Wright as the pilot. The Flyer has just left the launch rail. The take-off was assisted by a falling weight cable rigged to a derrick. The derrick was used in calm weather.
