Description

Erlis Morse (DOB: August 1, 1934) enlisted in the United States Air Force on September 28, 1952. Morse served at Samson Air Force Base (AFB) in New York, Turner AFB in California, Royal Air Force (RAF) Brize Norton and RAF Fairford in England, Hof Air Base in Germany, Davis-Monthan AFB in Arizona, Andrews AFB in Maryland, Mountain Home AFB in Idaho, as well as Georgia and Vietnam. While in Vietnam, Morse worked in traffic management. For his service, he was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal, among others. Morse was discharged from the Air Force on September 27, 1972 at the rank of Staff Sergeant (E-5).
