Abstract
A free boundary problem with nonlinear jump and kinetic conditions atthe free boundary is discussed in this paper. The problem involves twoharmonic equations in time-dependent domains with two space dimensionsas well as kinetic and jump conditions on free boundaries. Existenceand uniqueness of the solution for the problem is proved under somerestrictions on the jump condition. This is achieved by firstinvestigating a diffraction problem and then by using a fixed-pointargument. In the case that the initial data are axially symmetric, the global existence is proved. The asymptotic behavior of thesolution is also discussed in this case.
