Abstract
An algorithm to resolve a fundamental 2π ambiguity problem that occurs in multiple frequency spectral estimation is proposed. The proposed algorithm employs the covariance algorithm to estimate the center frequencies of multiple incident sinusoidal radar pulses. It solves the single frequency simultaneous congruence problem for every combination of remainder values and identifies the true frequencies based on the amount of times the frequencies repeat.
