Work in that volume originally appeared in Southern Review, Kenyon Review, Yale Review, Ploughshares, and elsewhere, and was featured on Writers Almanac and Poetry Daily. He is professor emeritus at Framingham (MA) State University and taught the advanced creative writing seminar at the Radcliffe Seminars (Harvard University) for twenty-two years. He has new work appearing in Salamander, Adirondack Review, Modern Poetry Quarterly, Outlook Springs, and Harvard Review, and online in Across the Margins, Cordite (Australia), and Valparaiso Poetry Review. Since he retired he has been offering free weekly drop-in poetry workshops at the public library in Framingham, where he lives, and in the summer at the library in Wellfleet.
