Abstract
The physical outcome of patients with burn injuries has advanced during the past three decades. Although the rehabilitation techniques to treat scar contracture and hypertrophy have remained relatively stable, the knowledge base and understanding of treatment approaches have expanded. Successful patient outcomes remain the responsibility of the entire burn care team.
