MS-147: Martha McClellan Brown
The photograph shows Miami Military Institute cadets in service uniforms posed in front of the horse-drawn excursion wagon, which was used for extracurricular activities such as fishing trips, picnics, and visits to points of interest. At the far right of the photo is Orvon Graff Brown, founder and president of the Miami Military Institute. The cadet seated, left of center on the ground, is James Henry "Henry" Fillmore, Jr. There is an unidentified building in the background. This photograph is from an album in the Martha McClellan Brown Collection.
