MS-147: Martha McClellan Brown
The photograph shows cadets in front of a tent during the Miami Military Institute annual encampment, ca. 1901. Cadets in service uniforms are seated on ground or standing, with two free standing pyramids of rifles near the entrance of the tent. Markings on the front of the tent read "Chas. Glawe Mfg. Co. Awnings, Tents, & C., Dayton. Ohio.". This photograph is from an album in the Martha McClellan Brown Collection.
