Description

Judson Harmon, Governor of Ohio, is arriving at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds for the 1909 Wright Brothers Homecoming Celebration medals ceremony held on the morning of Friday June 18, 1909 at the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. Soldiers from the Second and Third Regiments of the Ohio National Guard stand in formation on the racetrack of the Montgomery County Fairgrounds. A fence separates the racetrack and the stage area where the medals were presented to Wilbur and Orville Wright. Three early automobiles are lined up in front of the soldiers. In the background there is a large crowd.
