Description

Rene Pellier, 3rd from the left, and Wilbur Wright's mechanics at Le Mans stop to pose for a photo at Camp d'Auvours. Pellier was a manufacturer of canned goods and also the vice-president of the Aero Club of Sarthe. Both he and Leon Bollee contributed immensely to Wilbur Wright's successful flights in France. From the Leon Bollee Album presented to Orville Wright July 17, 1920. This photograph was taken between 08/21/1908 and 01/02/1909.
