Description
The photograph is of a Wright Model B Hydroaeroplane with a small triangular flag on the left wing as it leaves the launching ramps and enters the water at Glen Head, New York in September, 1912. Charles Wald is sitting at the controls of the airplane while three other men guide the plane to the water. The number 42 is written on the lower left side of the negative. This item is part of the MS-355 Charles Wald Collection.
