Description
The photograph is of a Wright Model B Hydroaeroplane with a triangular flag on the left wing and the engines running as it enters the water at Glen Head, New York in September, 1912. Charles Wald is at the controls of the airplane and two men are squatting behind the airplane near the ramps and observing the as it moves across the water. The number 43 is written on the lower left corner of the negative. This item is part of the MS-355 Charles Wald Collection.
