SC-381: Louis Lott Architecture Negatives
Description
Birds eye view from near Third and Main Streets in downtown Dayton, perhaps from the United Brethren Publishing House building, but looking northeast. A few businesses on Main Street (between Second and Third) are visible, including Harvey's, Conkle's, and the Phillips Hotel on the corner. The tops of several well-known buildings are also visible beyond in the mid-ground and background of the image, including: the spires on the Flemish facade of the Dayton Arcade, the south side of the Old Courthouse, and the Old Montgomery County Jail, all on Third Street; and the tops of First Reformed Church (left) and First Presbyterian (right) on Ludlow Street.
