DuBois, with the Wright Air Development Center, now the Aeronautical Systems Center, stands in front of a working model of a water based fuel cell and a display labeled "Unsolved Problem: How to decompose water efficiently into H2 & O2 by means of sunlight". DuBois was a research specialist working on utilizing water as fuel for space flight.
