Description
From the Dayton Daily News: "B-58 "Hitch-Hiker" Bomber Consigned to Torture Rack at Wright Air Development Center. Workers were ready to consign to the torture rack the supersonic B-58 Hustler jet bomber which "hitch-hiked" a ride to Dayton under the belly of a giant B-36 bomber, pictured in the photo. The B-58 carrying B-36 landed smoothly at Wright Field ay 3:35 pm Tuesday after a flight which began at Fort Worth, Tex, at 10:35 am. Wednesday the B-58 will be removed from its "mother plane" and taken into a special hangar."
