Jonathan S. Granata (DOB: July 5, 1988) enlisted in the Air Force on July 28, 2008. He served with the 40th Airlift Squadron and the 737th Expeditionary Airlift Squadron during Operation Iraqi Freedom, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation New Hope. Granata was awarded five air medals for his service. He medically retired due to PTSD-related epilepsy on June 27, 2013 having achieved the rank of Senior Airman.
