Abstract

In August and September of 1992, citizens of Jefferson Township and Wright State University's Center for Urban and Public Affairs surveyed Township businesses. They questioned businesses about factors that might impact their establishments and plans to retain or expand their operations in the Township.

The main objective of the Jefferson Township R & E Survey was to characterize business conditions and change in the Township. Survey objectives include identifying strengths, weaknesses and needs of businesses in the community. Equally important, the survey attempts to measure what impact future changes may have on business conditions. The information gathered from the survey can be used by local leaders and elected officials to improve economic conditions for Jefferson Township businesses.
