Topics include node and service authentication, address spoofing, hijacking, SYN floods, smurfing, sniffing, routing tricks, and privacy of data en route. Buffer overruns and other exploitation of software development errors. Hardening of operating systems. Intrusion detection. Firewalls. Ethics.
