Cecile Abish Firsthand
Description
Firsthand is an exhibit booklet showing the works of Cecile Abish who specialized in photography. The exhibit features the shots of a New Jersey brick home distorted and overlays to provide a sense of inquiry for the viewer. The goal was to emphasize details of the various photographs of the home, and the subtractive nature of the shots allows an introspective outlook for the content of the images. The exhibit was on display at Wright State University Art Gallery in March, 1978.
