    Description

    The photograph shows the first annual cadet military encampment of the Miami Military Institute, 1900. The photo depicts "company street", two rows of tents are facing each other, with a row of crossed rifles between them. Cadets in service uniform are standing at attention in front of tents. Annual encampments were referred to as "Camp MMI". This photograph is from an album in the Martha McClellan Brown Collection.
