Description
The photograph shows a float in an industrial parade on August 3, 1904. The float is a decorated wagon pulled by a team of horses, with driver. Eight women and a young girl, in dresses and hats, are riding on the float. A sign on the side of the float reads, "The 'Lucky Ducks' representing Miss Jean Selby, The Leading Milliner. Hats for all occasions". The photographer's markings on the bottom of the photo read, "Industrial Parade Aug 3rd 04". The float is parked on a dirt road with houses and trees in the background. This photo is from an album in the Martha McClellan Brown Collection.
