Description
Orville Wright piloting the 46th flight of the Wright 1905 Flyer at Huffman Prairie. The Flyer flew for 33 minutes, 20 seconds and 20.8 miles at a height of 40 to 60 feet. Twelve photographs were taken of the flight. In this photograph the Flyer is flying away from the camera resulting in a view of the tail of the airplane. Bishop Milton Wright and Katharine Wright were among nine witnesses to the flight.
