Description
Octave Chanute's photograph of the Wright 1902 glider in flight at Kill Devil Hills. The glider has just passed Dan Tate who is in the foreground. The Wright Brothers camp building can be seen in the distance. The Wright brother piloting the glider is not identified. Note on reverse by Chanute "15. Gliding past Mr Tate."
