Description
Front view of the Wright 1903 engine installed on the Wright 1903 Flyer during reconstruction prior to the Flyer being sent to the Science Museum, London, England, for display. Designed and built by the Wright Brothers and Charlie Taylor, this four-cylinder internal combustion engine could produce over 12 hp. In this photograph various parts of the engine are coded with letters. There is no table to explain the codes.
