Description
Close-up view of the front of Claude Grahame-White's Bleriot (100 Gnome) airplane sitting outside the hanger with an unidentified man holding the front of the airplane. The airplane had a Gnome 14-cylinder engine that generated 100 h.p. Orville Wright annotated on the back "Probably winner Gordon Bennett race 1910." This photograph is attributed to the U.S. Army Air Corps, 2nd Photo Section, Langley Field, Virginia.
