    Orville Wright with Captain William J. Tate at the Engineers Club holding a silver-plated spade. Captain Tate, representing the Kill Devil Hills Memorial Association, was at the Engineers Club to attend a dinner where he presented Orville with the silver-plated spade which was used in breaking ground for the Wright Brothers National Memorial.
