Orville Wright and Julia Shaw Patterson Carnell in formal attire. Orville was among many Dayton civic leaders honoring Mrs. Carnell at a dinner held at the Dayton Art Institute. Mrs. Carnell was the benefactor for the Dayton Art Institute having contributed $2 million for its construction in 1930.This photograph is attributed to M. E. Fawcett, Dayton Journal-Herald, Dayton, Ohio.
