Description
Photo of the Wright 1907 Model Flyer on the launch rail. The launching derricks, or catapult, is to the right of the plane. In conjunction these two apparatus gave momentum to the flyer on windless days so it could get off the ground. From the Leon Bollee Album presented to Orville Wright July 17, 1920.
