Photograph of the launching derricks with Wright 1907 Model Flyer in background. Many people are gathered to watch the flight at Camp d'Auvours. Note the rope which extends from the derrick to the plane. The weight of the derrick is in a lowered position. From the Leon Bollee Album presented to Orville Wright July 17, 1920. This photograph was taken between 08/21/1908 and 01/02/1909.
