Orville Wright, center rear, and fellow classmate and friend Paul Laurence Dunbar, left rear, are among the students in the photograph. The other individuals in the image are identified on the back of the photograph as: Shepherd, Edna Dando, Nellie Foutz, Will Blum, Lottie Lowes, Minnie Washburn, Ida Earhart, McDonald, Vinnie Huffman, Lura Hoover, Alice Beacham, Flora Cotterill, Coughill, Glenna Rench, Miss Ada Thomas, Ed Brown, Walter Class, Irma Gerkins, Ed Coffman, Katie Sixsmith, Helen Frizell, and Della Lewis.
