    A portrait of Jacob Christian Hansen Ellehammer, a Danish mechanic, who build the world's first air-cooled radial engine. He built a monoplane, semi-biplane, triplane, and helicopter. On September 12, 1906, Ellehammer became the first European to fly an airplane.
