The photograph is of Edward Korn's Benoist Type XII crash on Friday August 13, 1913. The crash occurred on the property of George Linker in Shelby County, Ohio. Milton Korn was a passenger on the airplane and died from his injuries on August 19, 1913. Three women, two men, and a young boy are standing around the crumpled aircraft in the field. This photograph is part of the MS-220 Edward A. Korn Collection.
