The photograph is of Edward Korn and Russell Froelich flying in a Benoist Type XII, circa 1912. Russell Froelich was the photographer for the St. Louis Globe Democrat and flew with Korn to experiment with aerial photography that could be used in war time. This photograph is part of the MS-220 Edward A. Korn Collection.
