Description

The glass lantern slide is of Claude Grahame-White flying a Bleriot monoplane at the Harvard-Boston Aero Meet which was held in Atlantic, Massachusetts from September 3-13, 1910 and was sponsored by the Harvard Aeronautical Society. Tents and spectators are in the background on the right side of the image and on the left side of the image is the battleship decoy that was used for practice bomb dropping.
