Description

Wreckage of an F-86 jet plane that had crashed between Wright-Patterson Air Force base and the Mad river near Route 69 during landing. The pilot, Lieutenant Colonel Charles O. Peterson, was on temporary station at Wright-Patterson from Scott Air Force Base in Illinois. He did not survive the crash.
