Description

Technicians work on restring a B-52 Boeing Stratofortress bomber that was flown into Wright Field to be put on display at the Air Force Museum. This particular 1956 vintage aircraft was slated for retirement but museum efforts rescued the plane because of "historical value and significance." (I.E. first B-52 to sustain damage in Viet Nam.)
