The photograph shows the Franklin Building at the National Military Home of Dayton, Ohio. The Franklin Building was dedicated to the care of the older residents of the home. The image is shot looking at the front of the three story building with a group of older men standing in front. Written above the entrance to the building is the word, "Franklin." The photograph is from the nineteenth page of the photobook titled, "National Military Home Dayton" and published by Keyes Souvenir Card Company in Dayton, Ohio circa 1910. The photograph has a handwritten caption on the bottom that reads, "The Franklin, Old Men's Home."
