The photograph is of the Headquarters Building and Memorial Hall from the ramparts of the National Military Home of Dayton, Ohio. The image is shot looking across the yard from the fort ramparts with the Headquarters Building in the center of the image. Memorial Hall is the building on the far right of the image and on the far left in the open field is the Bandstand. Unidentified buildings line the background. The photograph is from the thirty-first page of the photobook titled, "National Military Home Dayton" and published by Keyes Souvenir Card Company in Dayton, Ohio circa 1910. The photograph has a handwritten caption on the bottom that reads, "Headquarters And Memorial Hall From The Ramparts."
