SC-381: Louis Lott Architecture Negatives
Description
One of three photos identified only as "Downtown Dayton 'River Views' before 1915." This view is probably looking west, and the river in the foreground is probably the Great Miami River. Many buildings are visible along the waterfront, including one near the left foreground that may be the Beeghly-Lentz Apartment building (corner of Pioneer and Riverview Avenue), which would also place this in the vicinity of the Dayton Canoe Club. A metal bridge is visible at the far right beyond the houses. (For an extension of the right-hand portion of this image, see sc381_01_03_03.)
