Description

James Thomas "Tom" Hardy (DOB:November 10, 1944) joined the Army ROTC in 1964 an became a commissioned officer after graduation from Gettysburg College 1968. Dr. Hardy was an advisor to the South Vietnamese during the Vietnam War as a young Army Lieutenant. He was a member of the 101st Airborne Division, Military Assistance Command-Vietnam, and the 1st Armored Division. After the war, Dr. Hardy then went on to lead a successful career as an Army doctor and ultimately the interim Director and Chief of Staff of the Dayton Veteran's Administration.
