Description

E. Dwight Griswold (DOB: November 11, 1922) was enlisted in the United States Army in 1941. He served on a ship in the Pacific, Manila, Australia, and Japan. He was assigned to the SS Mactan during World War II. Griswold was awarded the Bronze Star during his time in the service. He attained the rank of captain and was discharged in 1946.
