Description

William R. Moore (DOB: December 9, 1922) was commissioned by the United States Army Air Corps. He served in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy in World War II. Moore was shot down on his tenth combat mission. He received the Air Medal and was discharged as a 2nd Lieutenant.
