50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon Landing

July 2019 marks the 50th Anniversary of the first moon landing. To commemorate this event the Special Collections and Archives of Wright State University has gathered materials related to the Apollo 11 mission from its collections. This series contains photographs and excerpts of newspapers from the Dayton Daily News and the Journal Herald. These materials give users a glimpse at the impact of the Apollo 11 mission from an Ohio historical perspective.
