Description

On September 29, 2017, Chris Wydman interviewed Richard Roy (Class of 1970) about his experiences as a founding member of the Beta Phi Omega fraternity during Wright State University’s early years . Roy discusses campus independence in 1967, the development of Greek life traditions, student government, and responses to national unrest including Kent State and Vietnam War protests. The interview highlights the formative culture and community of Wright State’s first generation of students.
