Description
In this one hour workshop, the instructor, an author with a book and several published essays, will review various opportunities for publication in the mainstream press. These include online venues, such as: Huffington Post, NPR, Everyday Health, and the online venues for major news outlets, such as TIME Health and CNN. Also, she will cover the print news, and for creative nonfiction the literary reviews. There will be a section on developing a story, a second section on choosing a market to send out queries, and finally on the submission process.
